Products and materials: prevents any change to the ingredients, raw materials and materials stored in your database.
Recipes and dishes: fully protects your recipes (technical sheets) to make sure no one changes the ingredients or the preparation steps.
Purchases: prevents any retroactive change to orders issued and delivery notes already received in the kitchen.
Sales: prevents changes or mismatches to the sales recorded and integrated in the platform.
Inventories: locks stock valuations and stock closings with no risk of unwanted changes.
Stores: locks the physical or logical stores set up so their current state and allocation are not altered.
Step-by-step to lock areas individually in tspoonlab
How to lock products and materials?
To lock products and materials in tspoonlab, go to "Offer", then "Products" or "Materials". In the search box on the left of the screen, select the product or material you want to lock.
When the product or material record opens, go to the three-dot menu on the right of the screen. Select "Lock product".
Once confirmed, the system shows a padlock icon next to the product or material name, visually confirming that the security lock is active.
How to lock recipes and/or dishes?
To lock your gastronomic offer database in tspoonlab, go to "Offer", then "Recipes" or "Dishes". In the search box on the left, select the recipe or dish you want to lock.
When the recipe or dish record opens, go to the three-dot menu on the right. Select "Lock product".
Once confirmed, the system shows a padlock icon next to the recipe name, visually confirming that the security lock is active.
How to lock purchases in tspoonlab?
To lock tspoonlabâs purchase history, go to "Management", then "Purchases". In the search box on the left, select the order or group of orders you want to lock.
When the order or group of orders record opens, go to the three-dot menu on the right. Select "Lock order".

To lock the sales recorded in tspoonlab and prevent mismatches on the sales recorded and integrated in the platform from your POS (Point of Sale), go to "Management", then "Sales". In the search box on the left, select the sale or group of sales you want to lock.
When the sale or group of sales record opens, go to the three-dot menu on the right. Select "Lock sale" to lock the group of sales.
To lock a single sale within a group of sales, go to the three-dot menu on the right of that specific saleâs line. Select "Lock".
Once confirmed, the system shows a padlock icon next to the sale name, visually confirming that the security lock is active.
How to lock inventories?
If you want to lock your inventories in tspoonlab, go to "Management", then "Inventories". In the search box on the left, select the inventory you want to lock.
When the inventory opens, go to the three-dot menu on the right. Select "Lock inventory" to lock the inventory.
Once confirmed, the system shows a padlock icon next to the inventory name, visually confirming that the security lock is active.
How to lock stores?
To lock your stores in tspoonlab, go to "Management", then "Stores". In the search box on the left, select the store you want to lock.
When the store opens, go to the three-dot menu on the right. Select "Lock store" to lock the store.
